John Betts, the former President & Chief Executive Officer of McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited, has built a remarkable career rooted in dedication, innovation, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry. With humble beginnings as a Crew Member in Southampton, New York, in 1970, John’s journey with McDonald’s has been marked by numerous accomplishments and accolades.
Throughout his extensive tenure, John held various pivotal roles within McDonald’s, showcasing his exceptional skills in operations, field service, training, and purchasing across the United States. His unwavering commitment and outstanding contributions earned him prestigious recognition, including the esteemed Presidents’ Award, a testament to his position in the top 1% of McDonald’s employees worldwide.
